As a “nearly-native” Nevadan, Kelly has lived in Northern Nevada since 1981, relocating from the Midwest. Since that time, she has seen quite a bit of change and growth in our area.
In 1999, after working in the accounting field, Kelly began her real estate career. Kelly has represented all types of clients, from a wide variety of sellers to first-time buyers, investors and those purchasing luxury properties. Although she loves working with all clients, her favorite client is the first time buyer. Guiding them through the home buying process and seeing the happiness when handing them the keys to their first home is very special to her!
Kelly’s real estate expertise is unique and well-rounded. During her more than 23 years of real estate experience, Kelly enjoyed a 5 ½ year, very successful, career representing a local new home builder as a top producing new home sales agent in communities ranging from condominiums to luxury homes. In addition, she is a licensed Community Association Manager and has represented new home builders as their HOA Community Manager and has worked as a Sales Manager, new agent trainer/mentor and recruiter for local real estate firms and as loan officer in the mortgage industry.
Kelly is a 2002 graduate of the Nevada Association of Realtors Leadership Academy and FirstService Emerging Leaders Program of 2016. She currently serves on the Sierra Nevada Realtors Professional Standards Committee and has served on the Professional Standards Committee for the state association in the past. As evidence of her commitment to her profession, she also holds a variety of professional designations. Kelly is extremely proud to be a volunteer for a Washoe County program which benefits abused and neglected children.
Kelly and her husband, Dan, have raised two boys. They enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors and vacationing as a family as often as possible.
